ACID LOVING EXTREMOPHILES

"ACID LOVING EXTREMOPHILES" is a studio project duo of long time friends Ekkostøj Furthersound and Krautbjørn Dronesmed.
While watching a documentary about life they were introduced to acid loving extremophiles living places on earth, and posible universe, where life were thought impossible. They agreed on the spot to create a band by that name.

A year later they began working on what later would become the album "Onomatopoietika", As the music evolved they contacted many of their friends from the danish underground which helped preform the music, each with their own unique sounds, voice and melodic tendencies. Most of the tracks ended up in huge arrangements with Kraubjørn and Ekkostøj as the guides, visionaries and constants that connects all the dots in one final tribal inspired tapestry.
It was released as Furhtersounds first release in late december 2017, with artwork by Irene Kleisdorf.

The album "A Song of Noise and Repetition" is the culmination of one nights jamming.
After a concert with guitar genius Fred Frith, creative thoughts dominated both of their mindsets. Around midnight they arrived at their studio "North Horse". They began playing around with brushes, spoons and lots of delay and reverb. With only two tracks, guitar and bass, the album was produced with a minimalistic ambient aproach., the only place where a third track, a distorted vocal, appear is in the middle of the 27min epoch "Sprout".
At sunset "A Song of Noise and Repetition" was ready to be mixed. It was released a few month later in late 2014 by Dubtrack Music, with artwork by Mats Miller.
The album is in all the regular online shops.
They are currently working on their third album, where they are trying to express themselves through their love of distortion, heavy riffs, salsa and pecussive rythms.New Paragraph
